Washington Adventist University is a small private university serving around 800-1000 students in the DC Region. The VP serves as the University’s chief marketing and communications officer and is a key member of the University’s leadership team. The VP represents and promotes the University, increasing its visibility and supporting the institution’s mission, vision, and goals. The VP leads the development and implementation of the University’s brand vision, strategy, and public relations campaigns to attract the best students, motivate alumni and donors, and recruit high-quality faculty and staff. The VP oversees the areas of university communications, publications, photographic services, social media, digital signage, web, news media, and marketing research relevant to high education. The VP will implement action plans for effective marketing of the University and its academic programs. • Pastoring a 3000 member church family through visitation, counseling, and prayer along with 6 other pastors. Developing marketing campaigns for multiple events and ministries. The Oversight and Management of a volunteer Media & Audio Team (50+ Members). Our team broadcasts to 300-600 Online Worshipers each week with a goal of bringing each viewer into wor-ship with us through professional quality and attention to detail. Overseeing Communications, including all visuals, public relations, promotions, and internal communication. Advocating for and enhancing all forms of community engagement within each ministry. Graphic Design and photography for all church visuals, prints, bulletin, banners, posters, signage, and event promotional material. Management of the church website, as well as extension ministries, such as our radio ministry “Simple Truths for Life” and its podcast. Video Production for illustration and storytelling. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Area

The Communications Director for the Oklahoma Conference of Seventh-day Adventists has oversight of all communications going out from the conference administration and events. The office also coordinates the incoming storytelling from churches and ministries across the state of Oklahoma and disseminates the information to the members. The office develops planning for better communications with the Oklahoma constituents in order to develop a drive for ministry and an informed body, including video, newsletters, emails, social media, and in-person speaking. The office also handles all crisis communication and is the representative for press and public communication.

Edmond has the second largest Adventist VBS program in the state of Oklahoma. The church has carried a high standard of quality for its VBS program for many years. It was my privilege to carry on this legacy as we offered our 2014 VBS program in June.
