Over 4 years I was responsible for delivering approximately $18,000,000 worth of TV - ranging from talk shows , to magazine programs , performance specials , and a host of documentaries. The role involved leading and motivating Melbourne based core staff and a team of reporters/ producers around the country. The role acted as the public face of Arts ABC TV and involved representing the organisation to the public and media. In this capacity it also entailed consultation with a wide variety of organisations and interest groups and a close relationship with the ABC Arts Advisory Board. In addition the position entailed providing recommendations for acquisitions, the commissioning of new and original programming and supervising , together with a Business Manager , the budgetary aspects of the production units and individual productions.
