His publishing career spans multiple jurisdictions (London, New York, and Tokyo) with a particular focus on business turnarounds, strategy, M&A, and business development, in the scientific (STM), educational (e-learning & EdTech), and academic publishing sectors.Richard has wide-ranging international experience particularly in Asia (he is fluent in Japanese) and has written books and articles on the Japanese economy and business, and scientific research trends in Asia. He is a director of Bosquet Capital, a specialist advisory firm, and also acts as a non-executive director (NED), consultant, trustee, and investor.
