Responsible for the acquisition, management, engineering, certification, and on-going care of clients and or projects in my department. This applies to projects in FL where my PE holds a current license. Manages projects and major tasks necessary to meet company goals. Directs and supervises staff in my departments to optimize project scheduling, resources, workflows, and project expectations. Reviews each subordinate’s production, role and key performance indicators (KPI’s) to make key decisions on optimizing duties, responsibilities, goals, and overall fit within the Company. Responsible for complex project tasks that only a PE or a person with vast experience in the field can accomplish. Identifies, develops, and implements accountability, tracking and reporting systems within the Company’s project management system. Has authority to select team members based on their capabilities to complete specific projects, including the authority to make final recommendations to hire. Consults with other Senior PE’s and/or managers to reallocate personnel including terminating a staff member’s employment. • Ensures projects are on time and within budget. Provides expert advice to the company or company’s clients regarding design and engineering. Formalizes workflow, template and training systems for optimal performance and scalability in the departments I manage. Trains team in such templates and training systems. Implements and follows thru new training systems. Reviews complex project orders or quotes to determine the scope of work and pricing. Communicates with clients as needed regarding complex situations and optimizes efficiency of projects.
