My career includes experience in special education, counseling, human resources, and construction. I was a teacher at the high school level for 5 years. Identifying and setting goals around the unique social, emotional, and mental health needs of students was a key task. I then moved on to addiction counseling where I helped patients plan for their future in recovery and develop strategies for avoiding relapse and persisting in recovery. I was promoted to a role as a training and development specialist in the HR department with Gosnold where I was responsible for monthly employee orientation training and managed their learning managment system Relias. I presently work in the human resources department for Delphi construction where I am the Human Resources Generalist.
