Web tech, it's something we use as part of daily life and it's improving all the time (you're probably using it right now on your pocket-sized computer). Having been involved in both creating and leading web-based projects for over 14 years I've navigated the ever-progressing technology landscape to create business-changing applications for a large number of clients.If you're doing something for this length of time there needs to be more than just evolving skills; there needs to be a passion driving you forward, and if we've had the pleasure to meet then you'll know this is something I'm definitely not lacking in. From the sleepless nights at Northumbria University soaking up all that BSc knowledge, to the sleepless nights at CoalFace growing a business to the (not quite so) sleepless nights heading the digital team at Drummond Central there's been a single passion. Simply put, that passion is to do a task to the best it can be done. As my gran used to say "if a job's worth doing, it's worth doing right". Well said.But if you weren't here for all that, I am well-versed in HTML, JS (yes, I still use jQuery from time to time), CSS, SCSS, C#, .NET Core, Umbraco, WordPress, Hosting setup/maintenance (including IIS, Apache and NGINX), CloudFlare, DNS, client communication, speaking both tech and English (audience depending), process management, technical leadership, development principles (OO / SOLID) and ISO 27001 compliance.I'm less versed, but still have a solid understanding of cloud-based solutions in Azure and AWS, VueJS, Nuxt, React (functions), Next, Bun, Webpack, Vite, NodeJS and a myriad of front-end technologies that may or may not be defunct by the time I've finished writing this.Thanks for reading 👑
