Managing the day to day operation of the total waste management contract in North Kent. Liaising with customers to manage their waste outputs and seeking best route for disposal including diversion from landfill.Waste data reporting and analysis in line with customer requirements, developing and implementing electronic systems to record, file and store information. Acting as direct contact for customer representatives. Completing customer audits as and when requested. Control of shift rota, including allocation of overtime and management of annual leave for staff. Managing all staff daily operations across all sections of the business including Iitter pickers, landscaping, plant machine operatives and LGV drivers. Analysing and providing feedback to staff on performance levels and managing accordingly. Conducting return to works and absence management for employees.Responsible for task allocation of all activities in the workshop from scheduling through to job completion and allocation of labour for day to day operations. Scheduling fleet maintenance including MOTs for all vehicles.Controlling the expenditure of all the enterprises, whilst having a full understanding and accountability for the profit and loss accounts and budget management. Increasing productivity, efficiency and profitability for the business as a whole.Identifying staff that require ongoing training and implementing training opportunities to increase their skills as required. Engagement and management of all sub contractors.Complying with all company and customer health, safety and environmental policies working the SHEQ manager. Complying with all relevant legislation and permits.
