Dr. Peet is a serial entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in cross-functional scientific, legal and business leadership roles spanning research operations, intellectual property strategy, and business development in the life sciences industry. He has served in numerous corporate roles including CEO, President, VP, Chief Intellectual Property Counsel, Board Member and research scientist. An entrepreneurial-minded scientist, lawyer and business leader, Dr. Peet has material involvement in multiple successful investor exits. Most recently he is a co-founder of Formulate Bioscience, inc. Prior to co-founding Formulate, Dr. Peet was a partner at the AmLaw 100 law firm of Foley & Lardner LLP where he represented pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies on patent litigation and procurement matters. He was Chair of Foley's Chemistry and Biotechnology Practice Group and International Business Team. Dr. Peet has authorship of numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications as well as articles and a book on intellectual property issues. He serves as an affiliate professor at George Mason University. He is an inventor on numerous patents.
