Responsible for maintaining and developing the Midland HR iTrent system for the Forestry Commission;Security Access: Ensure users have appropriate access to the system, which ranges from comprehensive HR administrator profiles to more streamlined employee self-service access. Workflows: Test & develop new automated workflow processes, to ensure line managers and employees are able to complete their required tasks with ease, while maintaining an audit-able record. Review and remove redundancies in the system to prevent a disengagement from users. Batches: Maintain and review automated batch processes to ensure the system is maintained with minimal manual intervention. First point of escalation for iTrent technical issues. Responsible for liaising with MHR directly for complex system faults.

Responsible for managing the HR Services team, which serves 1,200 employees throughout England. I line manage a team of 6 by providing support, training and help create individual development plans.I am the first point of escalation for HR, Payroll, Recruitment and iTrent queries. My HR policy & procedure expertise is often drawn upon from HR Business Partners and HR Senior Leadership team to inform case management and strategic decisions. Work with stakeholders and HR team to further develop the HR Services provision, increasing levels of data integrity and improving service delivery. A key part of this is to continually review iTrent configuration to ensure it meets the needs of both HR Services and the organisation.Generate workforce data, extracted from iTrent via Business Objects. As well as continuing to develop effective ongoing data reporting, I am contributing to a Pay & Reward review by supplying information on the use of pay & reward mechanisms within the organisation.

Responsible for delivering generalist HR support, being the primary contact for a region of 400 employees. The remit of a HR Services Officer covers;- Policy & Advice- Occupational Health liaison - Recruitment processes- Payroll administration Working in a transitional environment, I developed numerous processes to improve data integrity and process efficiency. This includes creating a robust peer checking system for contracts and payroll input, and also automated calculators that minimise the requirement for manual calculations for certain allowances and pay entitlements. I was also responsible for coordinating numerous audits, including recruitment audits for the Civil Service Commission. I was responsible for leading quarterly data intensive audits that which required the input from two other business units. I was also the key point of contact for the annual audit which looks at individual campaigns in more detail, ensuring they are in-line with Civil Service Recruitment principles. I have delivered key workforce data, with narrative, for use in in high level executive board meetings. This data was used to promote the requirement for organisational workforce planning.As of January 2017 the Forestry Commission HR Services commenced testing of the new HR/Payroll system, Midland HR iTrent. During implementation, I was responsible for collating system issues and working with Midland HR Consultants to achieve resolutions. I had a particular focus on ensuring current HR Services processes could work efficiently with the new system. I also developed knowledge and skills in Business Objects, in order to generate accurate and meaningful data from iTrent. I created a suite of reports that serve multiple areas of the business.
