Milton Keynes, United Kingdom

• Responsible for various insurance works, dealing with the loss adjuster and the council. I produce detailed specifications for the remedial works to be tendered and then managed on site through to completion and to the point the property can be relet. • Currently working on a program of fire stopping works in a number of properties and schemes. This is working with current fire assessment and using these surveys to tender for the certification of Council properties.• Undertake surveys for the council looking at a number of issues. Specify, tender and manage planned works over the value of £250,000 in sheltered schemes and building blocks.• Work with fire stopping specialist contractors undertake works and certify buildings to current regulations. • Work with OT recommendations for the disabled adaptations contract from the point of survey through to payment. • Draw up plans and specifications for works that are outside the agreed schedule of works for tender. Manage these tenders to the point of awarding the successful contractor. • Undertake weekly site checks for health and safety, quality of works and tenant liaison answering tenant queries.• Use spreadsheets and a number of systems to monitor works streams and predict spend.

Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom

Responsible for the day to day supervision of all tradesman on the Wellingborough Homes maintenance and emergency repair contract. I've been responsible for the past 2 wet rooms contracts including 38 new wet rooms in the last 12 months and oversee any additional planned works not covered in the contract SOR book.

Dunstable

- Decent Homes project overseeing the refit of kitchens and bathrooms, project was up to £1 million in value.- I lead and support a team of site staff and sub-contractors to deliver the project on time and within budget.- Forward planning is required to prevent problems due to wide variety of property conditions.- I had overall responsibility for the day to day site management of all project activities.- Managed and updated the site programme at regular intervals.- Reported to the Contracts Manager and Client where necessary.- Liaised as necessary with the local authority.- Reported and managed change within the project scope whilst ensuring project delivery to client satisfaction.- Implemented all technical specifications, drawings and schedules that comply with the scope of services.- Inputted weekly payroll for the site team.

• Management of labour and resources.• Maintain records of labour and site deliveries.• Carry out extensive Snag lists on all external and internal finishes and liaise with Sub Contractors to ensure any issues they are dealt with.• Main point of contact to Sales team and New Owners to solve any problems that should arise. • Organising schedules and liaising between the different trade groups to ensure the project is completed on time.• Maintain a high standard of Health And Safety at all times on site.

Kettering

• Predominately extensions and loft conversions. • Experience in New Build projects glazing windows for Leach Homes.• Refurbishing new windows for a number of NHS departments.• Converted a number of lofts from the initial steel erection through to final fix of Skirting boards and painting.• Liaising with customers throughout the contract to gauge satisfaction.• Experience in internal and external finishes.

Greenwich

• Fitting vibration security systems to the periphery fences of Olympic Sites throughout London.• Involved working on a number of high profile venues working within in a small team.• Testing of the system and recording all data to clients.• Experience of high security standards.

Melbourne Australia

• Managed a number of office fit out jobs in Melbourne’s City Centre. • Supervised the demolition of office sites back to base building ready for new tenants. • Oversaw the fit-out of offices for new tenants.• Main point of contact between my superiors and those on site.• Carried out extensive site inductions of Health and Safety and enforced a safe working environment. • One contract run over 4 floors, was in excess of £2 million for the AEMO Group, lasted 9 months and was completed on time.
