• Create and implement growth (sales, and marketing) strategies that align with user, buyer and stakeholder needs
• Inform product roadmap and ensure alignment with market opportunities
• Develop capital raising strategy and front investor pitches
• Develop marketing programs with quantifiable objectives to measure results
• Implement and manage marketing budget

• Role responsibilities:
• Develop product positioning and messaging to differentiate Xero in both the small business market and accounting channel based on user and stakeholder feedback
• Demand generation – develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs for generating channel demand
• Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process
• Product launch – plan the launch of new features and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
• Market intelligence – internal voice for the small business owner, how they buy and their buying criteria; as well as competitive analysis

• Founding role including:
• Ensure product roadmap aligned with market opportunity/feedback
• Lead growth execution
• Develop sales narrative/pitch aligned with user needs
