Role responsibilities:● Create and implement growth (sales, and marketing) strategies that align with user, buyer and stakeholder needs● Inform product roadmap and ensure alignment with market opportunities● Develop capital raising strategy and front investor pitches● Develop marketing programs with quantifiable objectives to measure results● Implement and manage marketing budget● Implement data capture strategies and analytics to drive insights● Oversee and direct the efforts of the marketing team● Develop and measure key metrics around the business including user acquisition, conversion rates, engagement rates, satisfaction and renewal rates

Role responsibilities:● Develop product positioning and messaging to differentiate Xero in both the small business market and accounting channel based on user and stakeholder feedback● Demand generation – develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs for generating channel demand● Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process● Product launch – plan the launch of new features and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan● Market intelligence – internal voice for the small business owner, how they buy and their buying criteria; as well as competitive analysis
