Commissioning of the CNRL Horizon expansions in bitumen processing and tailing plant.• Collect and break down various lines of equipment into parts using Microsoft Excel to price pieces through numerous vendors. • Data collection using Maximo, JD Edwards and CNRL’s database for online documents relating to specific equipment. • Create planning procedures for new equipment and systems for extraction.• Walk down new construction piping and mechanical equipment, creating a list of repairs, prior to the hand over. • Verifying alignments, pipe strain, proper lubrication, safety, and final installation of couplings/belts on drive components.• Working closely with the Maintenance team, assisting with mechanical maintenance.

Duties included welding, threading pipe, rigging, hydro testing and task planning. • Building full quality control packages for non-welded piping and ensured appropriate data is accurately documented and maintained. • Worked closely with the engineer team in planning new projects and prepared material orders list for upcoming system upgrades.• Conducted site maintenance, alongside Millwrights, for all piping and mechanical systems..
