I have more than twenty years' experience helping clients to resolve complex cross-border and domestic disputes through arbitration, litigation, mediation and other forms of ADR. I specialise in energy disputes and risk advice, especially power, renewables and clean energy such as low carbon hydrogen, as well advising on climate change risk. I chair Clyde & Co’s Power & Renewables Focus Group and sit on the Steering Group of the Net Zero Lawyers Alliance.My experience includes:- Advising renewable power generators in disputes regarding pricing in corporate PPAs- Acting for an IT solutions company in a multi-million Pound High Court claim relating to a systems integration project - Acting for an oil refinery in challenging the allocation of free emissions trading permits- Providing investment protection advice concerning a proposed green hydrogen joint venture in the Middle East- Acting for a demand-side UK capacity market contract holder regarding the judicial review of the UK's capacity market- Advising oil & gas companies on potential investment claims under the Energy Charter Treaty- Managing the UK's largest funded claims portfolio, including both arbitration and High Court claims, for an aviation company
