About five years ago he knew that to survive, he was going to have to drive digital change changes in the industry. He believed that the situation of delivering mail into a letterbox over 2-3 weeks was far too long. He realised that the issue was multiple vendors being engaged in the list rental, graphic design, print and mail processes.With his partners he realised that these processes needed to be collapsed into a single digital platform, with seamless end to end processes converted to days, and Digital Direct International was born. The Covid crisis was spent with his developers building the system he envisaged, and Australia’s first digital Post Office went live.Over the last three years Richard worked to create a technology platform that includes all of the key postal routes, google maps and an ability to quickly deliver mail anywhere in Australia. This was the catalyst to the business becoming a key partner with Canva in Australia.Richard resides in Melbourne Australia and is passionate about using Canva and Digital Direct International to help SME’s recover lost ground from the pandemic. -
