After years of outsourcing and neglect, Nike’s network infrastructure found itself encumbered by a high degree of technical debt, a vendor-owned service support model and vendor constrained security protection. Resulting in: network instabilities, security vulnerabilities, suboptimal inter-regional routing, limited cloud capability and recurring concerns around performance, availability, latency & redundancy. Nike launched a program to build a Next Generation Network, built to mature the network and sustain the pace of the company’s growth ambitions. Role: Senior Network Consulting Engineer Key role in designing and deploying Nike’s Next Generation network. This included the development and deployment of network solutions, from concept to operational support, with a global scope.
