Richard “Rick” Chenault Sr. serves as a Broker at SVN | AVAT Realty LLC. and brings more than 45 years of real estate experience building his first Multifamily Property during College in 1974. Rick has worked as a real estate investor and developer, a real estate agent and a Licensed HVAC contractor. He built a successful Nationwide Insurance Agency in Decatur, AL from 1984-1996 retiring to go Full time into Real Estate Investing. In his role at SVN, he applies this wealth of experience to aid his clients in their transaction experience. Rick has a strong knowledge of the multifamily and commercial real estate markets that he serves, as well as a thorough background in analyzing and valuing properties to ensure that his clients reach their desired outcome. Rick is a graduate of Auburn University where he attended on full scholarship and was a starter on the 1976-77 Tigers football team. Upon graduation, Rick served our Nation in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He currently serves in his church as a Permanent Deacon and Administrator of Resurrection Catholic Chapel in Moulton, AL. and serves on several community organizations. Rick is married to his wife Peggy of 46years. They have five children and nine grandchildren.
