As a Production Test Technician 3, each day my goal is to perform the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuitry, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. I test and troubleshoot assemblies or final systems to determine a quality product is delivered to our customers at Lam Research. Occasionally, I am tasked to complete rework on systems to correct discrepancies as a result of testing. In the auditing and controls process, I prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. I work closely with Manufacturing Engineers to determine, examine, and devise solutions to the discrepancies found while testing the equipment and improve processes to mitigate lost time in the future.
