From designing, supporting and building high speed nationwide networks with Digital Equipment Corporation, MCI and Cox Communications to being part of and/or building and leading teams to build and gain market share and revenues in the Access Market with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Service Providers such as AT&T, Comcast, Charter and Point Broadband, my background and experience has been key to producing results over my 20+ years in the Network Industry. Managing customers accounts, especially large ones takes patience and thorough knowledge of the customer's business and challenges. All products from all vendors WILL fail and when your companies reputation and revenue is on the line during these hopefully rare occurrences, you need an experienced executive to calmly yet firmly lead the team to the resolution needed while effectively managing all internal and external communications in a timely manner. Skills like these come with experience combined with slightly thicker skin, not simply salary. My years of dealing with very high profile customers using equipment that affects hundreds of thousands of subscribers gives me the expertise and experience to deal with these types of situations.
