Driven by a desire to support all aspects of the UK housing market. Enabling ownership, funding for professional and private landlords.Everyone should have somewhere to call home; the more I can do to support this vital component of our social fabric is important to me. My role as Chairman of the UK Finance Mortgage and Services Board has allowed me to work closer with regulators and government to support a better mortgage and housing market for consumers. I am motivated by looking to answer some of the big societal issue we face today, such as, insufficient housing, an ageing population and growing inequality. I feel financial services can assist in providing solutions to these challenges and I enjoy building propositions to support.I lead the end-to-end mortgage business and I am obsessed with creating brilliant customer and broker experiences. I pride myself on creating conditions to build high performing teams, nurturing talent and building a culture where people can reach their full potential. I am an expert in mortgage regulation, advice and risk management.
