Graduate of Stanford University (BA in Economics) and the School of Law at UCLA (JD). Mr. Rust is an accomplished civil trial attorney. For over 40 years, he has successfully tried numerous jury and court trials in state and federal courts and has won several multi-million dollar lawsuits. Prior to joining Cotugno & Rust, Mr. Rust was a partner in a prominent LA law firm and litigated a variety of complex banking, ERISA, and business cases. Since joining C&R, Mr. Rust's practice has been devoted to a wide variety of litigation matters including commercial contracts, real estate and construction matters, corporate, partnership and franchise disputes, business torts and unfair business practices, employment, trust and estate litigation, elder abuse, and general civil and business litigation. Mr. Rust also handles commercial arbitrations and civil appeals.
