Richard Saab is the Global Chief Asset Management Officer at Katara Hospitality, a leading hotel investment firm with a global portfolio of top Luxury and Trophy hotel assets such as the Plaza New York, Carlton Cannes, Peninsula Paris, Royal Monceau Paris, Savoy London, Raffles Singapore and more.He has over 25 years of experience in the real estate and hospitality industry, spanning across asset management, development, construction, business development, investment, private equity, acquisition, operations, and finance with a combined total asset under management of more than $20B.He leads Asset Management and Asset Acquisition and Development for Katara Hospitality that owns hotels across 4 continents. He is responsible for overseeing the performance and value optimization of more than 30 hotels, as well as managing the due diligence, capital raising, fund management, and debt negotiations. Richard holds an MBA from Cornell university and ESSEC Business School. He was also Teacher Assistant to professor Jan De Roos in Real Estate Valuation and Corporate Finance courses.He is passionate about creating value for investors, partners, and customers by delivering innovative and sustainable solutions in the hospitality sector.
