Solving problems and technology have always been constant interests throughout my entire life. The path I walk sees me mix both of those interests and I wouldn't have it any other way. The best thing about data science is the human element of it all. Any piece of data I analyze and work with comes from a person, and I must always recognize that. It helps me remember that the work I do behind the screen is connected to the world around me and not disconnected from it (which so many people like to think).As a student I have been honing my skills and this is a basic rundown of what I've done (so far):- Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, and Visual Basic (more to come; beware).- Collaborated with others in the development and presentation of projects.- Conducting self studies (currently learning MySQL)- 3.64 GPA
