Direct responsibilities (including P&L):- Consumer Butter and Spreads, the Company’s flagship brand and largest consumer business- Overall Consumer Foods- Consumer new products- Trade marketing- Consumer insights (marketing research)- Knowledge systems- AcquisitionsAccomplishments:- Successfully changed the 50 year-old commodity pricing structure of the butter business, resulting in record profitability and the ability to control the financial impact of market volatility on this core iconic brand.- Successfully changed the underlying regulatory pricing structure of the mufti-billion dollar dairy industry to the benefit of Land O Lakes, reversing the long-term volume and profit decline of the Butter business.- Re-engineered the entire trade marketing process, resulting in 8 figure savings and doubling Consumer Division profit, while increasing volume.- Headed the new products team that developed award winning products with authoritative third party estimated sales of over $100 million dollars.
