Project QA Manager in Pre Feed for the Alaska LNG JV. Project includes 830 miles of Pipeline from North Slope to Nikiski, a Gas Treatment plant on the North Slope, and a 3 train LNG plant at Nikiski.

The QA & QC Manager will provide the JOC office with the appropriate Quality Management System processes and procedures in order to provide the Project Team with the means to control quality throughout the various phases of project execution. Principal Accountabilities: Developed the overall Quality Management System, policies and procedures for the KBB Project. Where Non Conformance/Corrective Actions have not been resolved, ensure that these are brought to the attention of the appropriate Management level for resolution and action. Conduct regular audits and ah-hoc visits to ensure that the contractor(s) QMS, plans and procedures are developed and implemented. Coordinate, support and manage relevant Shareholder technical audits as the focal point for Shareholder’s representatives Support multi-discipline inspection teams during execution phases at fabrication yards and supplier premises. Act as mentor to junior engineers in the team to increase technical competence levels Provide support to Senior Management Team by identifying and investigating inhibitors of maximum achievement and by working with participants to secure agreement on both the recognition of the problem and the action necessary to obtain improvement. Provide QA & QC leadership, support and expertise to the manufacture, testing, delivery and installation of long lead items and critical equipment for Drilling, Facilities and Operations activities.

Leading ConocoPhillips Major Capital Projects QA/QC department, COP Quality Talent Management team lead, responsible for staffing / promotions. Lead the development of the Capital Project Management System, and the COP Quality Management Network of Excellence. Provide Project Quality support and participate in Funding Gate reviews.

Continued Management Systems support to the Conoco UK BU, working in the SEQA group. Tasked with Integrating the Business Management systems of Norway and UK. Left Aberdeen in 2004 to get back to QA roots on Projects.
