I worked at Tesco Plc for nineteen years (2003- 2022) as a Customer Assistant. During my time at Tesco I gained a range of practical and soft skills, these include: communication; customer service skills; leading others; training; cash handling; prioritising tasks; working in a fast paced environment; stock taking; stock replenishment and conflict management.During my time at Tesco I also trained new starters to ensure trainees understand policies, procedures and work to a high standard. I work efficiently and effectively as part of a team or independently. I am punctual and have high attendance. I have a keen eye for detail and this is demonstrated in my work. I ensured all policies and procedures were followed and completed inline with company guidelines and legislation. I am computer literate as I have experience in using Personal Digital Assistants and company software to complete day-to-day tasks.I received numerous recognitions for my hard work and for meeting targets from the management team, colleagues and customers. Due to my commitment at Tesco I gained additional holidays, pay increases and bonuses.Tesco donate consumables to local charities and I have helped create rapports with Charity leads and help the community, something which I am proud of.I continued to develop my own skills through completing CPD (Continued Professional Development), my most recent training includes: understanding legislation; conflict management; Fresh Food Long Life Rotation Planner; Storing Specific Fresh Food Long Life Check; Preventioning Out of Code Validation and Welcome to modern Stock Take.Prior to working at Tesco, from 1998-2003 I worked at Stockcare Ltd as a Warehouse Assistant. During my time at Stockcare Ltd I helped manufacture animal care products; stock replenishment; customer service and fulfilment.I am a valued member of the team, with vast experience, however I am looking for a new challenge, where I can make a difference, learn new skills and work to my strengths.
