-- Built and led academic preparation and university counseling team, with best English language learning results and scholarship placement results in Africa over the past 2-3 years-- Helped more than 100 students from Rwanda, Burundi, DR-Congo, Liberia and South Sudan to prepare to be college ready for the U.S. university system on day 1 and to earn the scholarships that made their dreams a reality. -- As of fall 2016, Bridge2Rwanda Scholars have accepted more than 33 million USD in total scholarships and will attend more than 60 universities including all Ivy League colleges, the University of Chicago, Northwestern, Notre Dame, MIT, Williams and many more.-- Helped drive organization's academic and scholarship results, leading to an approximately 10x increase in Rwandan students earning U.S. college scholarships from 2011-2015 (and driving a substantial increase in organizational fund-raising results and budget to support them) -- Developed in-house approach to academic readiness and progress management that has helped students adopt growth mindset and work as a team for all of the results they have achieved

Kigali, Rwanda

- Focused on helping great students with outstanding potential to develop a growth mindset and realize it. Our typical student profile is unable to get in and not yet prepared for U.S. university on Day 1, and one year later is well-prepared and admitted with full need scholarship.- Supported expansion of innovative scholarship program for Rwandan students, meeting goal of 30 of more full U.S. scholarships per year (among the top 3 program results in Africa). -- Working in collaboration with Rwandan high schools, coordinated increase in highly selective university visits to Rwanda from <5 in 2012 to 40+ in 2014 and 2015

Kigali, Rwanda

- Helped create, launch and implement U.S. university scholarship prep and access project, and served as head teacher and program manager - Project results: by May 2012, 15 Rwandan students had accepted scholarships to schools including Northwestern, the University of Pennsylvania, Haverford College and Master's degree program at Cambridge University, U.K.

- Taught English literature, writing and critical thinking classes at the National University of Rwanda. - Conducted feasibility study for university preparation and scholarship project

Davis, Ca

-- Taught two writing classes at the University of California, Davis.-- Received outstanding student evaluations of more than 4.5/5 on average

Natitingou, Benin

- Helped ensure health, safety and security for 27 Peace Corps volunteers in region of northern Benin- Managed and accounted for budgets in excess of $100,000 on projects including health clinic expansion, library expansion, scholarship project, and building classrooms.

Zagnanado, Benin

- Taught middle and high school English at rural secondary school in southern Benin- Initiated scholarship and health clinic projects and managed to sustainability
