With ACCA and various other financial industry qualifications as well as extensive audit experience in both senior management and specialist roles, my last role in March 2024 was SVP Group Audit at Qatar National Bank, Doha, the largest bank in the Middle East by asset size. I reported to the Group Chief Audit Executive, both performing hands-on auditing and managing the audit function for financial crime, special assignments, policy review and data analytics as well as ensuring compliance, risk management and governance across all business lines through managing the follow up of audit findings across the group,I possess in-depth knowledge and experience in auditing investment management, treasury, and financial crime, as well as other business and support areas such as retail, corporate, risk and compliance. Over the course of my career I have gained very good communication and interpersonal skills, developed from liaising with executive management, regulators, and external auditors.
