After a very successful 6 months into my Deputy Manager role at phones 4U I was promoted to becoming the General Store Manager which enabled me to grow as a leader and run a large business model. I was privileged to run some of the largest stores in the company and manage over 40 team members at any one time. My great drive and tenacity drove me to becoming really successful within my role being store of the month and having awards month in month out for Customer feedback. As the business leader I had created a work force that not only enjoyed their job role but looked for internal promotions. There are normally two types of managers in retail one is a sales manager and the other a peoples manager. I strongly believe that promoting and working on a team ethic is a key strength which looked after my sales whether they was motioned or not.
