Throughout my career, I have always aspired to firstly deliver, perform and outperform those around me, then secondly learn from and take on further responsibility from my immediate line manager and wider business supports. This approach helped to build a wide area of ever-expanding knowledge, which was not initially intended with career progression in mind but rather to become an expert within that particular role.This has led to a unique commercial insight into both B2B and D2F perspective of the UK dairy farm sector where I can see opportunities within. I have led and been responsible for complete control of business P&L, led strategic business and commercial planning, implemented major business and people reorganisation including change management, whilst being involved in major company integration and due diligence procedure.I do however take most delight when I see my strategy put into place which delivers success for our business, leading to personal growth for members of my team. Team success and delivery to budget has always been a major driver and motivator for me and am especially proud of the business which I have managed over the years which have delivered continual growth for AB Dairy. I am now enjoying using people skills on a different level, making lasting relationships with external business leaders helping to explore expansion of our B2B reach with suppliers and distributors.
