My role at Blackwoods is to drive safety sales within the Victoria. I am accountable for the profitable sales growth across the state of Victoria. My current role requires me to work with safety products, develop new business opportunities, through existing and new customers, maintain strong relationship with existing customers to ensure that services and products continue to meet their expectations. I am also required to conduct specialist product training sessions, with internal and external personnel. I have considerable experience in the area of sales, account management and business development.

Roxby Downs / Olympic Dam

I was employed by Blackwoods in a specialist role, located in Roxby Downs South Australia to manage a contract with BHP Billiton. During this period my position consisted of facilitating and managing one of the largest industrial and safety contracts in Australia. One of the objectives of the contract was to maintain procedures for contract review, ensuring that all requirements of the contract met customer expectations. Additionally, to identify opportunities for improvement within the product range. My main role was to assist in adding value to the contract. During this period the objectives of the contract were met. I was also responsible for managing the Roxby Downs branch and managing the personnel within that branch and also ensuring that the branch was profitable and meeting Blackwoods KPI.

Adealide

I was responsible for developing new business and growing exisiting business across South Australia and the Northern Territory. I was required to manage relationships and contracts with key accounts through ensuring high service standards. Other requirements were to produce proposals, tenders, quotations, internal reports and managing costing models. Working closely with a team to gain new key accounts.

South Australia

As a Product Specialist, my key responsibilities were to work with the sales team. Manage the day-to-day operations of the category, which included pricing and lifecycle management.

Mildura

My main responsibilities as the Branch Manager in Mildura were to run the day-to-day management of the branch and help to the grow the business in Mildura. I was required to control the branch operations and ensure that the branch was exceeding sales, profit and service objectives. In addition I was required to mentor and train the personnel within the branch. Providing high service to current customers as well as expanding to new clientele.
