I was a professional dancer for many years and had the opportunity to work with great choreographers including the late Gus Giordano. I started my dance trainging in NC at the Academy of Dance Arts in Moorseville, NC. I went to East Carolina University in Greenville, NC where I had the chance to work with Alan Arnett, Tommi Overcash-Galaska, Joseph Carow, Dr. Dawn Clark, Patricia Weeks,Patrica Pertalion and Jay Norman. I worked with choreographers, Mia Michaels, Mark Dendy, Frank Chaves and Katiti King.After moving to Chicago, I trained with Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago. I began teaching and choreographing in 2000. My strong point is teaching. I supremely enjoy working with the dancers and creating a challenging and fullfilling classes.My goal is for Inaside Chicago Dance to become a trademark dance company specializing in the genre of jazz dance in its entirety.
