Personal ProfileI am a Level 4 Chartered Institute of Housing qualified housing professional who has over twenty years of Customer Service experience in the public, private and voluntary sectors.As a Neighbourhood Officer I work to support and sustain Council residents in a fast paced, shifting, complex and challenging environment. I especially enjoy making a difference to the lives of the vulnerable. I also provide an Estate Management Service as my role has expanded to include this. Recently I have completed a two year Level 4 Senior Housing / Property Management Apprenticeship while working in my current role for Enfield Council.

Group Engagement with Resident Associations.* Positively communicating with, influencing and constructively challenging Council Tenants/Leaseholders with regard to their Tenancy/Lease obligations.* Working in partnership with Residents, Enfield Council's Estate Monitoring Team, Technical Services,Caretaking Services, Highway Services, and the Police to resolve Estate Management issues. For example, Communal Repairs, Litter, Graffiti, Overgrown Trees, Abandoned Vehicles, and Anti-Social Behaviour.* Liasing with support bodies such as Social Services, The Safeguarding Team and One housing to support and ensure Tenancy Sustainment. * Managing the Council's obligations to Tenants/Leaseholders. For example, resolving repairs issues (including water leaks), tackling Anti-Social Behaviour, and sign posting other non housing related services.* Invesigating breaches of Tenancy such as Unauthorised Occupancy, Property Abandonment, Anti-Social Behaviour. I have recovered six properties for Enfield Council in this financial year.* Supporting both Legal and Non Legal Remedies with regard to the tenancy. For example,representing the council at county court, and facilitating mediation in asb disputes* Administrating Right To Buy, Mutual Exchanges, and Tenancy transfers after the death of a tenant.* Supporting both legal and non legal remedies with regard to the tenancy.
