Scientific management and MPE support for setting up, maintaining and ongoing development of an MRI simulation clincial service for radiotherapy at the Leeds Cancer Centre. Key responsibilities included: safety framework development, creation of training programs, developing and execution of acceptance testing and commissioning plans, and development of a comprehensive quality assurance (QA) program documented on a ISO9000 quality management system. This role involves supporting the development of a research programme on the MRI sim, including being primary supervisor for multiple PhD students and setting up/maintaining collaborations with other hospitals and industry.
