The Global Music Collective is an international music organization with a constantly growing series of recordings, performances, collaborations, workshops, and forums. Global Music Collective was created to cross cultural and linguistic lines with music to promote themes that bring underrepresented voices into the conversation, promote media literacy, and encourage economic development with the arts.

We are proud to announce that we are recipients of one of this year's CDAF grants. The funds will go towards our program to provide songwriting classes and recording software in an effort to promote media literacy, music skill development, and alternative career opportunities. Our program cycles rely on donor funding and grant cycles as well as the schedules in our targeted areas.The current program will run in Abuja, Nigeria.

I've created and produced a kids' beatboxing show called Rhythm Barnyard. We teach children music through vocal percussion, with all new episodes here https://www.youtube.com/@RhythmBarnyardAs the writer and main character, I use my beatboxing and teaching skills to encourage participation at home and in the classroom. To supplement the shows, our website has downloadable materials to encourage further education around music.
