I am fully Licensed in: Marriage and Family Therapy [LMFT], and Clinical Social Work [LICSW]; an AAMFT and MAMFT approved supervisor, and an ASCH (American Society of Clinical Hypnosis) Approved Consultant in Clinical Hypnosis. I have been in the psychotherapy field since the mid 1970’s, working in a variety of settings including: hospitals (in and out-patient units and clinics), private practice, with adolescent and adult treatment programs and as a consultant to businesses and organizations. I was Clinical Supervisor and Director for Pathways Counseling Centers MI/CD Programs in St. Paul, MN for 14 years, retiring from that position in September, 2012.I have been studying and using clinical hypnosis since the late 1970’s, served on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Society of Clinical Hypnosis (MSCH) for seven (7) years and am Approved Consultant and Certified in Clinical Hypnosis by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH).I studied Bowen Family Systems Theory, with Dr. Murray Bowen, MD and his staff from Georgetown University, through the Minnesota Institute of Family Dynamics from 1980 – 1990. For the last 6 years of this training, supervised trainees, in the program, in their efforts with their own families and work systems.I am currently in Private Practice, focusing on therapy, supervision and consultation.
