Responsible for all daily operations of a team of 125 team members and 8 supervisors covering 2 shifts in an 850,000 sq ft DC shipping to 250 Tractor supply Stores and direct to customer E Commerce sales. Daily priorities include all shipping, order-fill and receiving activities as well as employee engagement and supervisor development through coaching and PIP. Other responsibilities are team member, supervisor, and manager interviewing and recruiting as well as safety related activities and reporting. Directly accountable for developing a safe, quality minded, productive, and engaged team to meet the daily demands of the Tractor Supply Customers.

Responsible for the effective integration of an acquired facility with the principles, policies, and direction of the Sherwin Williams Company. Daily shipping activities cover paint and related products to 106 stores in the Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah areas. Responsibilities also include yearly P&L budget development, weekly and monthly P&L responsibility along with daily projection reporting and 5 year capital planning. Along with 4 direct report managers and 15 warehouse technicians.

Responsible for the efficient operation of a 1.3 million square foot, multi building distribution center, with over 300 employees. Daily facility shipping and receiving activities of 7 million pounds of paint and related goods to over 900 Midwest region Sherwin Williams stores and a broad range of external customers. Direct reports include Operations Manager, 6 shift managers, Maintenance, and leads and coordinators, as well as portions of the administrative team. Plan and execute weekly P&L forecasts strategies to achieve site and division objectives. Execute and plan 5 year capital budget plan, as well as any yearly special project spending. Utilized tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities included managing all day to day activities ranging from brush and roller manufacturing to the maintenance department with a team of 260 employees, a Production Manager, 8 direct reporting department managers and supporting team leads to ensure that all company objectives, which include; safety, service, quality, cost, and people are being met. Planned and executed P&L strategies to achieve the desired results. Worked closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality and HR to drive continuous improvement of the operations. The site was recognized for the 2012 Housekeeping Excellence Award.

Responsible for the efficient operation of a 700,000 square foot distribution facility, with over 90 employees. Daily facility shipping and receiving activities of 2 million pounds of paint and related goods to over 400 western region Sherwin Williams stores and a broad range of external customers while achieving the company objectives of safety, service, quality, cost, and people. Responsible for 5 direct reporting shift managers and supporting team leads. Planned and Executed P&L strategies consistent with the company objectives. The team in Reno was recognized with various company awards including 2010 and 2011 Distribution Center of the Year Awards as well as the 2011 Corporate Site of the Year Award.

Responsible for the efficient operation of a dynamic transportation group that included 100 drivers, 3 dispatchers, 90 tractors, 250 trailers, and a $19 million operating budget. Directly accountable for all P&L activities, planning and results as well as capital planning and execution. Involved in a corporate team to spec and select new tractors for the entire SW Fleet. Lead the team to the Fleet of the Year award in 2005, 2007, and 2009.
