About Richard Tait

Following a long executive career spanning senior executive roles in retail, commercial banking, investment banking and government sectors, I am now primarily occupied as a non-executive director in digital and technology-dependent companies. As an experienced Chief Information Officer of some of Australia’s premiere organisations, I have led the strategy and delivery of major programs transforming how customers are served and streamlining internal operations.Under my leadership, these companies have moved from technology laggards to leaders, able to move quickly and exploit new business opportunities. I founded Aquitaine Consulting in 2003, recognising the need for strategic advice independent of the major firms.
