Ground-up implementation of the analytical and fermentation program based around small molecule generation. Developed the research plan and path forward for fermentation optimization while increasing fermentation capacity via staff and equipment.Designed and installed the infrastructure for bench-scale gas fermentations for both shake flasks and bioreactors.

TetraVitae Bioscience is developing biobased chemicals, plastics, and fuels. Our proprietary technology and expertise in the fields of industrial fermentations, process engineering, microbiology, and cellulosic feedstocks will dramatically lower the costs of production, allowing us to compete with and replace petroleum-derived products.

Directed most aspects of the establishment and maintenance of a new biomechanics research laboratory at Clemson University. -Managed a group of 6 graduate students in basic laboratory maintenance.· Coordinated a NASA funded pharmaceutical study that was flown on a shuttle mission.· Designed and constructed devices used in animal studies examining osteoporotic effects of radiation treatment.· Assisted in the development and execution of radiation and osteoporosis projects at Clemson University by writing ACUC protocols.

Planned and implemented multiple community outreach programs relating to health and education. Led culture-based integration seminars for incoming Volunteers.
