Have written " Dance into Business " a how-to guide for dance students, teachers and professionals, published in November 2018.Graduated with an Honours degree in Business and Administration from the University of Portsmouth, a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.Have worked in Oil, Shipping, Trading, Automobiles and Dance as a Finance Professional.As Director of Finance and Administration at the RAD had responsibility for Finance, Facilities, Human Resources and Information Technology and the trading company.Represented the Academy on the Council of Dance Drama and Musical Theatre CDMT (then Council of Dance Education and Training CDET)’s Awarding Body Committee and in the 1990’s was the Chairman of its Registration Board, and Honorary Treasurer. Within the Academy Group was a Director of Royal Academy of Dance asbl, RAD Dancing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Royal Academy of Dance Singapore Pte Ltd. and Royal Academy of Dance Enterprises Ltd.Retired from the Academy after twenty seven years in March 2015. Was honoured with a Fellowship (FRAD) in July 2015.A current Trustee of the Cecchetti Society Trust, bbodance and the Frederick Ashton Foundation; and former Director of Dancers Pension Scheme until its cessation in 2021; and former Trustee of Dance Professionals Fund, and Trustee and Company Secretary of Youth Dance England before its merger with One Dance UK.Gained a Diploma in Charity Accounting (DChA) from the ICAEW in July 2015.Hon Treasurer for St Peter's Residents Association.
