Working on a variety of different projects for the Nuclear Industry:• From concept designing through to creating detail design packages for plant services in a product store using Plant 3D design suite and Navisworks• Producing arrangement, detail and isometric drawings for piping contractors for manufacturing• Creating detail designs of secondary containment within an existing alpha plant building• Producing proposal, scheme and detail designs for a range of equipment to be used in submerged situations using Remotely Operated Vehicles

• Writing ‘Scope of Work’ and ‘Purchase Specifications’ to meet clients’ requirements • Liaising with design houses and manufacturing companies to request quotes to complete the projects defined in the purchase specifications • Liaising with the purchasing department within NNL to place orders from chosen quotes

• Producing proposal designs to detail drawings for a variety of camera inspection projects

• Producing concept and proposal designs for a maintenance platform handling fuel rod decommissioning flasks• Research into cutting technologies available for a range of materials such as boron and tungsten

• Producing glovebox modification drawings including pipe re-routing• Drawing designs including remote handling, general machine, fabrication, platforms and stairways• Design experience from concept and proposal through to detail design for manufacturing• Works testing and trials support• Piping and equipment rerouting and layouts • Special purpose equipment design for VIT Plant, including PVC suit/respirator work during installation work• Brown field site upgrade work
