Richie Travel blogs are from an electric wheelchair user prospective, providing information on accessible travel highlighting and reviewing how accessible places are as well as transport, accommodations, attractions, restaurants, cafes pubs, bars and amenities for disabled and non-disabled people. My ambition is to raise awareness and help lift up the barriers for disabled travellers. I hope my blogs will encourage and support people with disabilities to travel and explore the world.

• Assisting with event planning and administration: including promotion of events• Booking venues and dealing with conference organisers• Keeping spreadsheets up to date and assisting with travel planning arrangements• Typing correspondence and assisting with diary management• Helping with input to fundraising materials, leaflets, general admin support as required, e.g. campaigns and up to date information for the medical sector about Brittle Bones• Assisting the Comms Officer with general communications tasks and preparation • Attending external charity conference events as BBS Charity rep and producing reports.• Assisting in confidential internal process regarding wheelchair client applications.• Assisting people with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) or sometimes known as Brittle Bones to complete their grant application forms for wheelchairs and equipment• Managing and updating grant application form status on spreadsheet • Attending regular work update/ staff meetings on Microsoft Teams• Assisting with setting up online conference meetings and workshops and AGM meetings.• Communicate with stakeholders over emails • Adding alt text to photographs for the website and social media• Update website and social media in liaison with the Comms Officer.
