Richard Torres is an Investment Sales Director focused on the sale of multifamily and retail properties throughout New York City. Prior to joining Besen & Associates in 2011, Richard worked for Brandico Realty Inc., where he worked as a Property Manager and Sales Associate in the residential division. Mr. Torres has worked closely with court appointed Receivers and Note Holders in managing distressed asset properties in conjunction with NYC Management LLC (a division of the Besen Group), in addition to concluding a full service effort by preparing the assets for full market sale. With over six years of real estate experience, Mr. Torres has developed close relationships with reputable landlords and lenders. His residential leasing back ground has helped him develop the experience and clear understanding as to what commercial buyers and sellers look for in multi-family and retail investments. Other related experience include, commercial leasing and residential/Commercial property management.A native New Yorker, Mr. Torres is a graduate of the Touro College. Mr. Torres is a family man with 3 children and enjoys quality time with his family.
