Created current state and gap analysis documentation and presented phased remediation proposal to senior management. The Implemented solutions resulted in large reductions in lead time/ time to market for transition events, assets setup issues, risk and lower TCA results leading to additional business.• Assumed the role of Project Manager to complete the upgrade of the Charles River IMS from version 8.2 to 9.1.4.5. Managed capital/ expense costs, vendor relationship, senior management communication, some 40+ resources globally, addressed risk, issues and coordinated with 33 business groups that utilize the system. The total project cost was $6.4MM with a duration of 18 months. The project was completed and implemented in line with the planned schedule.• Engaged as the senior BA working with Portfolio Managers, Operations staff and the Compliance group to migrate the Managed Account (Wealth Management) Group from the Fiserv Platform to the Charles River IMS for all aspects of Model Management, Portfolio Management and Compliance. The project involved the migration of 28K accounts with an AUM of $30B. Successfully migrated WRAP/ 3rd party sponsor business to Charles River as an initial phase prior to the project being suspended.• Currently working with the Front Office Data Management Group to recommend solutions to centralize asset maintenance and setup. This is focused on the Fixed Income space in line with the growing demand for enriched global asset coverage and product demand. -

Ba/ Solution ArchitectNorthern Trust Asset Management Jul 2008 - Dec 2010Greater Chicago AreaFocused on delivering front office tools for the Active Equity Division to support the execution of strategic initiatives and business growth for the Quant Active, Tax Advantaged Equity and Active Equity Groups. • Designed and delivered a fully integrated bespoke portfolio management solution utilizing the ITG Tax Optimizer and Charles River IMS platform. This enabled the TAE team to support tax code modelling and the capability to constrain capital gains and losses for institutional, high net worth and tax managed product lines. The application provides the ability to administer over 1000 accounts across 14 external custodians with over $14B in AUM. • Collaborated with the Quantitative Active group to consolidate all market data sources from MarketQA over to Factset and Cornerstone for their Quant research and production processes. • Converted all applications over from the BARRA GEM to utilize the GEM2 Risk and Exposure models. Coordinated all user testing, implementation and phased cutover of business units to minimize risk.• Successfully on boarded a substantial new client by providing on-site analysis and interviews. Provided a scalable, ‘fast-to-market’ solution that integrated the Eagle and PAM accounting systems that allowed for fully automated tax lot level accounting and reconciliation between the two systems. The initial funding was $2B which has since resulted in a further 3 account funding’s due to the success of the original solution. • Replaced the Analyst Workbench System (AWS) for the NTI Active Equity Research Department which evaluates some 290 U.S. companies in 50 industries on the NT stock guidance list. The project involved replacing the Lotus Notes/ PowerBuilder application that utilized market data from Factset with an Oracle/ .NET application integrated with an interactive RKIM plug-in and market data supplied by Thomson-Reuters.
