After getting the trading day started on the right foot by exercising and eating a healthy breakfast, I then turn my attention to the markets for the first time that day. Only after I've checked my trade journal this is what helps to keep me accountable and it is definitely one thing that separates professional traders from amateurs. This situation occurs when sellers slightly outnumber buyers, and the broker wants to find buyers to pick up the slack. I will be in there buying — and hoping that the selling pressure is short lived.
