Responsible for establishing a $500,000 budget, resource planning, Requirements Definitions, project development, QA and UAT testing.

Responsible for QA/UAT testing of e-Custody - Web Enabled Reporting System. Application contained 80 major Global Custody Reports for national and international clients. Was responsible for a team of 10 – 15 testers, comprised of employees and consultants. Prepared the Test Plan, Test Cases and repeatable Test Scripts. Worked closely with the Data Warehouse group to establish Test Beds for multiple products and version testing. The QA effort included: User Specification validation, End User Guide testing, Defect and Issue identification, control and resolution monitoring as well as Cross Product Training and Support. Test environment consisted of IE versions 4.X and 5.X, Netscape, Active-X, JAVA under VM 5.X, JAVA off-line plug-in and Crystal Reporting. Utilized Mercury’s WinRunner and Test Director for defect tracking and reporting.

Planned, developed, implemented and managed a methodology for performing YEAR 2000 Industry Street Wide Testing and Future Date Testing. Responsible for coordinating diverse systems and applications testing spanning over: 200 Applications, three mainframes and over a dozen Industry Wide Tests for both New York and European operations. Developed Project Plans, defined Infrastructure requirements and acted as liaison between End-Users, Applications Development staff and Data Center support personnel.

Planned, developed and implemented all project management related functions, tasks and documentation for the introduction of Imaging, for Image Statements, to replace conventional check return to the bank’s customers. Coordinated efforts of in-house staff, IBM and third party vendors in installing and implementing Image Applications in the Northeast and Southwest for the processing of over 375,000 customer accounts. * Architected, designed, built and managed an Integration Test Facility for QA Testing. The test facility included an automated JOB scheduler (CA7), a print spooler (SAR), DataTrak for capturing and storing input transactions and AutoRoute for creating and distributing output media to participant members. The ITF supported three environments for Integration Testing as well as Product Testing. All environments were populated with copies of Production JOBs and override libraries for test JOBs, PROCs and programs.* Was responsible for the design, documentation, implementation and management of the facility, as well as Turnover, Operating and Test policies and procedures. Determined Test Scenarios, Test Quality Assurance methods and conducted over 50 Integration Tests that consisted of 350 JOBs per test and used over 20 days of Production data combined with test transactions.* Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test Data, Operating Run Schedules and Error Tracking procedures were developed and installed in phases. The test environments were built to simulate Production operations in a 3-Day Settlement (T+3) world and One Day Settlement for Adjustment (ODS). The test facility was permanently added to the client’s site as a tool for testing changes to Production in a simulated Production environment.

Identified, documented, categorized and prioritized user requirements for an ongoing MSA payroll maintenance effort. Established a short-term implementation plan for high priority requests.

* For the Retail Banking’s conversion effort to Systematics, was responsible for setting up and processing all production ready software in an Integrated Test Environment in order to perform Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Production Parallel Testing of all applications prior to their going live. This included staging and modifying executable JCL to run in the test environment, tracking and monitoring source and object software turnovers by application, release, and version number, and coordinating production schedules for a particular software release.* Compiled and authored the sector's Standards and Procedures Manual for all production ready software. This entailed developing program, PROC and JCL standards acceptable for all of the sector's production turnover modules.
