Leading on the implementation of the priorities in the Town Council’s Strategic Plan with a particular focus on the community, working with the public, private and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) stakeholders.

To apply an asset based community development approach to improve the health & wellbeing of targeted communities by working with partners and the voluntary sector to reduce loneliness and isolation, build resilience and independence and overcome barriers to engagement.To establish and maintain good working relationships with partners and stakeholders, to help identify community needs, minimise duplication and promote partnership working.To work in partnership with the local community to support neighbourhood and family networks, to facilitate local participation and access to facilities and services and encourage local creativity, vibrancy and diversity.To be responsible for developing, managing and promoting outreach resources, ensuring that they are geared to the specific needs of local and cooperative communities.To develop in collaboration with local communities a lively, challenging and varied programme of learning opportunities including workshops, events and support materials to support delivery of the Stafford and Surrounds Health & Wellbeing Strategy.To contribute to the development and support of the work of volunteers involved in the delivery of the Stafford and Surrounds Health & Wellbeing Strategy.To develop methodology for working sustainably with communities, to further develop relationships and activities for the life of the Health & Wellbeing Strategy.To contribute to establishing and maintaining systems for monitoring and evaluating services through the collection and analysis of public and other feedback.To disseminate relevant case studies and evaluation findings and promote and share good practice in the use of collections by diverse communities.
