I am a forward thinking designer seeking to use game design methodology to improve educational and corporate training systems to improve retention of customers and employees alike. I could fill this section up with $5 buzzwords, but the truth is, no one really cares about those. Businesses invest thousands, and sometimes tens of thousands, of dollars into employee training. As of 2018, the average length of employment is 4.6 years. While this has an immediate impact on the bottom line, the loss of experience and retraining cost that hide behind it are enormous. For employees, the current model leads to increases in stress, dissatisfaction with their employment, instability in both their work and home lives. My mission is to work with both employers and employees in creating environments that increase productivity, improve job satisfaction, and increase retention while simultaneously improving customer relations and satisfaction. As we have transitioned out of the industrial era and into the information age, our old methodologies have begun to fail us. It's time for a change; for a fresh perspective that leverages technology and lessons learned from across multiple industries to improve the workplace environment.
