Thank you for taking time to view my profile.I have spent my professional career in risk management helping customers manage their risk exposures and providing pragmatic and balanced risk management advice. The most important things for me are:- Working with our customers and brokers to collectively manage risk in order to deliver successful results for everyone.- Having open and honest discussions about risk exposures and the levels of risk management controls that are appropriate.- Recognising that customers have competing demands on their time and resources and tailoring the approach accordingly.In leading the Risk Control operation at Travelers I seek to optimise how we deliver risk guidance to our customers as well as obtain and evaluate risk information for our underwriters to support sound underwriting judgements. I'm passionate about making the provision of risk management services a differentiator to our business and the success of our customers.Outside of work:I enjoy playing and watching sport including tennis, golf, badminton and football and am a lifelong Aston Villa fan! I also enjoy spending time with my family, getting outdoors and enjoying the countryside.My key skills include: Property and construction risk management knowledge; liability risk management knowledge including health and safety, products and technology professional indemnity exposures; setting risk management business strategy and leading a team to deliver this; evaluating different risk management solutions to assess and manage risk exposures, analysis of data to help formulate appropriate risk management activities.
