Working for Ethos Broking as a Systems Consultant means I get to work closely with a very talented set of individuals, running some of the UK's leading regional Insurance Brokers. I provide valuable insight in how to get the most out of our Partners broking systems and how to ensure processes are running as smoothly and efficiently as possible. I provide support for our regional brokers in growing their business overall when acquiring smaller insurance brokers, providing due diligence and assistance where necessary and generally helping them integrate within the Ethos family. I also provide day to day support on the running and administration of our various Ethos Broking systems, specialising in Open GI software. Working for Ethos Broking has and continues to provide a rewarding working environment, allowing me to create key relationships within our various Ethos Broking Partners and develop my knowledge of the Insurance Industry.

Open Gi

As a Training Consultant at Open GI, I take pride in educating new and existing brokers on the various capabilities and solutions which the Open GI platform can cater for. I also provide consultancy sessions on various Open GI products, giving our broker customers the knowledge and experience to give them the edge in what is a very competitive insurance market. Not only do I conduct class-room based courses at the Open GI head office in Worcester, I also go out on the road and visit customers to do bespoke onsite training and consultancy sessions which are often much more tailored to specific customer requirements.

As the Lead Applications Support Analyst, I am responsible for the provision of support to the team leader, team colleagues and both internal and external customers. As well as mentoring fellow colleagues to ensure the growth and spread of knowledge, I also work closely with the the Team Leader, ensuring the smooth running of operations and contributing to the engineering/re-engineering of internal processes and on going improvements within the Support Centre.

I am responsible for supporting both standard Open GI customers and those who pay extra for the Enhance Support Service we provide. I am also responsible for supporting the help desk staff with any applications queries where further assistance is needed and deal with any escalations. I also provide both on the job training, and class-room training for new starters.

As a support advisor, it was my job to answer any incoming telephone support requests from Open Gi customers, and deal with any existing calls that have had been logged to the support queues. This was both from an applications and a technical point of view. I was responsible for maintaining the highest level of customer service at all times.
