Program Analyst for the Office of Sealift Support at MARAD, conducting governance, legal analysis, and regulatory compliance for MARAD programs supporting the internationally-trading U.S.-Flag merchant fleet, including Maritime Security Program (MSP), Tanker Security Program (TSP), and related programs and agreements (VISA, VTA, CSF). I also provide legal and regulatory analysis for the Deputy Associate Administrator for Commercial Sealift on statutory, regulatory, and strategic proposals concerning U.S.-Flag international trade activities and U.S.-Flag fleet development. Office works in coordination with U.S. Transportation Command, U.S. Coast Guard, and MARAD's Office of Cargo and Commercial Sealift (Cargo Preference), and works in partnership with thirteen U.S.-Flag carrier stakeholders in MSP, CSF, and TSP.

Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of International Law, 47th edition. Responsible for the content and quality of the Journal during the 2014-2015 academic year, overseeing all operations of the Journal. Theme of the 47th Edition: Regulation of Emerging Military Technologies, featuring P.W. Singer, Greg Noone, and David Koplow, among others. JIL, one of the oldest international law journals in the country, publishes a double issue each spring. Previously worked as an Associate Editor, and wrote a Note on the future of Arctic shipping that was awarded JIL Note of the Year and selected for publication.

Researching tools of social accountability to combat corruption, fraud, waste, and abuse in the Ugandan public sector, for a collaboration project with the Anti-Corruption Division of the High Court of Uganda and the Anti-Corruption Coalition of Uganda. Am also using that research to examine how to improve the admissibility of such evidence into anti-corruption trials in the Anti-Corruption Division. Further, providing the good governance statutory research for a bid to the Siemens Integrity Initiative focusing on Ghana's energy sector. Separately, working on the course listings for a week-long seminar on advanced international criminal law for African practitioners.
